I've washed these maybe fifteen times now and the ecru color hasn't faded or gone patchy at all. No dye means no weird chemical smell out of the package either, which I appreciated.

The unbleached cotton is noticeably softer than my old dyed pairs, and no weird chemical smell right out of the wash. Waistband sits flat under jeans without rolling. Ordered three more.

The ecru shade is exactly what I wanted—no dyes, just the natural cotton color. They're soft from the first wear and the cut is plain but comfortable. Only wish the waistband were a touch wider, but that's a small thing.
